A simple concept: to deliver delicious and high quality food. That's what this cosy and gorgeous independent restaurant and café offers to the local community.

Well, not just for the locals. I don't live nearby but I have lost count of how many times I had tracked down to Simply Delicious, not just because of its exceptional food but also because there is a very pleasant atmosphere inside it.

Placed in the heart of Aldridge - an affluent area of Walsall, located approximately 9 miles from Birmingham- Simply Delicious became synonymous with a good independent food establishment. The secret may be in their passion about the business itself.

Besides being a cafe and restaurant, Simply Delicious has also a delicatessen range of products that can catch any customer's eyes. From gorgeous cheese made in Britain to award winning jams, these fine items can be enough reason to pop by once or twice a week.



They have excellent options of gifts for all tasters: cheese lovers; chocoholics or coffee enthusiast. I was really tempted to try a bit of tequila chocolate, to be honest. Always a reason to come back soon, anyway.

To eat in: One of the highlights of the place is certainly their options of deluxe and classic paninis. Recently, I have chosen the chicken breast in mayo with bacon crisp that also includes a delicious pineapple side salad and crisps, a quite soft and light meal that I would recommend either as lunch option or a light bite.



For the quality and size of the portion I would say that £6.50 is a reasonable price as well. You can eat proper meals in Simply Delicious for less than a tenner.

If you fancy one of the chef's specialties, the menu has different options: from pasta dishes, soups and baguettes to jacket potatoes that are also a very popular meal in the place.



Coffee and puddings are another irresistible treating in Simply Delicious. International coffee suppliers from Nicaragua and Bolivia do the trick, if you are a coffee freak - like me. If your chocolate fixing is not up to date, I would also recommend their pretty much fluffy chocolate muffin. Simply delicious indeed.
