Being a teenager is tough, and sometimes you feel that your parents just don't understand. How could they? They're so old, and it is not like they were ever young once. So when mum and dad drag you out to the theatre for some 'culture', no wonder you want to lock yourself away. Theatre? Boring.
Or maybe not. This July, the National Theatre have an exciting programme of shows lined up. Performed by young people, to be watched by young people, it focuses on relatable issues all teenagers go through. What's more, tickets are only £5, and if you take a friend, then you'll both get in for £8. If that sounds more interesting than Shakespeare, then take a look at what's on offer:
