If you live in the Southern area of London, you'd be surprised by the number of up and coming great club nights now open for our enjoyment at the weekends - the latest of which is Shooshh, a Croydon club, perfect for a Friday night out.
If the London club scene isn't necessarily your cup of tea, Shooshh just might be. Although small, limited in space, and situated in one of London's less favourable of boroughs, consistent good music and a buzzing atmosphere guarantees great night. The club distinctly lacks the rough and tumble of the Croydon area and is more seemingly a cross between Mayfair and Choice FM.
Of course, the style and tone of the club is tailored to its locals, with a certain penchant to R'n'B and Hip Hop currents and classics, but what more could you need if you're in the mood to bump and grind.
Drinks are cheap, of only around £2, and coupled with the standard entry price of a fiver, this ends up being a great night at a low cost. And the seemingly always bustling queue outside the club proves just how popular it is, although not to be deterred, ensuring yourself on a guest list will guarantee you entry.
Shooshh is one of the 'you-might-as-well' try nightclubs. Its not Fabric, Movida or Tiger Tiger, but its a great alternative if you're in the mood to change things up a bit.
