Shanghai Blues, located on High Holborn, is a perfect place for dim sum. Dim sum if for those who do not know, are small bite-sized portions of food traditionally served in small bamboo steamer baskets or on small plates.

Great value for money, especially on weekends as they have a weekend yum cha special, as well as half price offer for Saturday lunch and all day Sunday.

It's interior is modern with elegant Oriental décor. The staff are friendly and provide a great service as it was made sure that our delicate tiny pots of tea was always consistently filled with hot water. They have an assortment of exquisite teas to choose from their menu.

For dim sum, they have a good variety of dishes to choose from their menu. To name a few, we ordered the mini golden pumpkin, which was delicious and sweet. The Shanghai xiao long bao was scrumptious - each of these dumplings were served in little baskets so that each dumpling retained its juices. The presentation was impeccable.

It is a fantastic opportunity to get together with friends, have a yarn and share the dishes. So what are you waiting for, make that booking as they have an easy reservation system online or just give them a call.
