Jazz has an ability to make you feel easy; good and easy at the same time. Michael Buble recently said in an interview, that we need that romanticism, a sort of hopeless fun and romance in our lives, and in my opinion, everything he says is gospel. In all seriousness, Buble has a point, and jazz/swing certainly has a fun, romantic unrealistic quality which offers a certain amount of hope.
Seven Jazz in St Peter's Square clearly is of the Buble mindset; they are hosting an afternoon of swing sessions for your entertainment. Plan a lazy, grown-up Sunday listening to some festive jazz and it will be the best decision you've made.

Seven Jazz
Three bands will be playing for your pleasure, all of which originated in the Seven Jazz workshops. I'm in favour of a more organic musical experience, and the musicians playing, though professional, still have the dirt underneath their fingernails.
Jazz has an ability to put a smile on your face, it's the balance of the drums, the saxophone and the right trumpets - it makes your body move. I've never considered jazz as particularly festive, but with the biggest holiday of the year round the corner, Seven Jazz are promising an afternoon which is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit.
The doors open at 1pm, music starts 1.30-4pm, so get in, grab a drink, and get ready to swing.
