In just two hours I can go from rolling hills and scenery that can only be described as a patchwork quilt of countryside, to the ever buzzing bustle of London.

I love my capital city.

It's got everything you want and has this pulse that infiltrates your body with an energy that only London has.

Last weekend, I hopped on the train in search of a little...liveliness. Living in the countryside is, of course, a privilege but sometimes you just need to be in the middle of it all, right?

My favourite thing to do is hunt out those hidden gems that you would only know about if you lived there. The cool cafes and the backstreet bars-the places to be.

And it was in the middle of Brixton market where I found said tasty jewel, in the shape of a colourfully cute creperie.

Senzala gave me what I needed. An array of herbal teas, a menu overflowing with every type of pancake you could possibly think of and a vibrating kind of atmosphere alive with Sunday morning chatter. I had the buckwheat pancake with goats cheese, spinach, red onion marmalade and an egg whilst looking at a simple and ever so bohemian chic flower arrangement and fading woodwork.

People were queueing out the door. The line of hungry customers just kept on getting longer and if that isn't testament to this laid back but delicious crepe joint then I don't know what is.
