If you haven't yet taken your little one to see Santa, don't worry there's still time. Ham House and Garden in Richmond-upon-Thames have a fun festive trail which has its final days on the 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd December from 10am until 4pm.

Make sure you wrap up warm - the trail leads you around Ham House's picturesque open gardens searching for Christmas trees with jumbled up words on. Once you have found and solved all nine anagram clues, a hidden password will be revealed which gives you access to see Father Christmas in his grotto!

Watch your child's face light up as they come face to face with Santa and receive their very own age-appropriate gift. Don't forget to take lots of pictures as this encounter is a memory to treasure forever.

As well as the garden trail and grotto, there is storytelling held on the hour every hour, Christmas art activities, and festive treats in the Orangery Cafe. Entry to the gardens is £4.00 per adult and £2.00 per child (a little more is added on if you opt to donate to Gift Aid) and then the festive trail is an additional £3.50. If you fancied making the most of your visit and having a look inside the impressive house too then access to the whole property is £10.00 per adult and £5.00 per child.

Ham House and Garden is accessible by car, or you can catch the 371 bus from Richmond. For more information visit the website .
