Have you ever dreamed about creating perfect French pastries and sweets? Come along to
Season Cookery School for their full day workshop:
Classic French Patisserie with chef Nicloas Bouhelier. The course will be held on
Sunday 18th of February, starting at
9:30am.
When it comes to classic pastries, the French are who you turn to first. Culinary schools around the world still use French teminology when teaching their students, and many pastry techniques originated in French kitchens. Classic french pastries include tarte tatin, macarons and choux pastry.
In this class you will make a chocolate crumble tart, chocolate fondant cake, raspberry souffle and some financiers. You'll learn tips for getting the best pastry crust, and learn how to troubleshoot when things don't seem to go as planned. Presentation is also key when it comes to French pastries, so you can sharpen your eye for detail and deliver some stunning dishes.
Season Cookery School offer both full day and half day courses. Classic French Patisserie is a full day class, with things getting started at
9:30am and ending at 4:30pm. It's recommended that you arrive at 9am to familiarise yourself with the kitchen, grab a warm drink, and meet the chef and fellow budding pastry cooks. The class is
£195 per person and tickets can be
purchased online or by calling
01962 776088.
