Thursday evening is your chance to see a radical exhibition at the
People's History Museum .
Searching the Stores is this Thursday's late-night exhibition at The People's History Museum. This is your one and only chance to explore cartoons and caricatures dug out from the museum's archives. There will be many items which have never been displayed before making it a unique and special event. This is your chance to see work you've never seen before. The impressive collection is a treat for art and history lovers, you can trace the history of the area through the illustrations of the time.
The exhibition is part of the
Radical Lates programme. This is a series of evening museum openings. Every second Thursday of the month sees the People's History Museum open late. This is great for workers and visitors to the city as it gives you a rare chance to visit the museum in the evening. The shows put on at these events are different, exciting and showing items which are unique, rare and often overlooked.
Visit the show on
Thursday 11th January 2018 between
5pm-8pm. The event is
free and no booking is required but
donations are welcome to allow the museum to keep putting on great events for everyone. The suggested donation is £3. Whilst attending the event, you can also visit the cafe bar and gift shop where you receive 10% discount. This is a special offer for anyone visiting one of the museums events.
Make sure you don't miss out on this unique chance to see the collection late at night.
