Punting down The River Cam (photo instagram @neelsmcgee)
For someone who doesn't know too much about Cambridge, England it was nice to be enlightened after having spent a beautiful weekend there.
Situated in England's north sits the well known town of Cambridge. This city is home to an array of cultured history and famous folk. There are those who managed to pass the corridors of queens and kings college with the likes of David Attenborough and Sir Isaac Newton.
How do I know this? Through the charted punting company called
Scudamore's Punting Company.

Cambridge is known for its colleges, but more importantly for its punting. Over several companies provide these services up and down the River Cam, which runs through the heart of Cambridge enabling tourists to enjoy fantastic views of the world famous Cambridge Colleges from the comfort of a traditional Cambridge punt.

The chartered punting options are only good if you have a knowledgeable, entertaining and fun guides, luckily enough this happened to us.
The tour takes you up and down the River Cam, past landmarks such as where the Secret Society strike unsuspecting Headmasters and the
Anchor Pub where Pink Floyd were born.

The journey lasts about one hour and gives you a great insight into the history and architecture of the university and its surrounding landmarks.
I recommend going through
Scudamore's Punting Company and do try and and get the young chap in the photos from this review as he was by far the best tour guide on the River Cam.
