As Huddersfield's student population will know, the Newsome area of town is a hotspot for privately rented student accommodation. Right in the middle of this area, at the foot of Cross Lane at Number 1, Stile Common Road, is , which serves so much more than just pizza, at prices even the poorest of students would find it hard to say no to.



With 5.5 out of 6 stars on Just Eat from almost 2000 reviewers, it's a pretty solid option, but in my opinion its best selling point is that you can buy not only pizza, garlic bread, and calzone, but also kebabs, burgers, pasta, southern fried chicken, and even salads, as well as drinks, kids meals, and desserts.

Gone are the days of choosing between a kebab joint or a pizza; Santino's sells it all, and with aplomb.

My personal favourites are the mixed kebab, which is huge and satisfying in the way that everyone wants their kebab to be, and the Hawaiian burger, which pairs a juicy quarter pounder (or two, for just 80p extra!) with pineapple and cheese for, in my opinion, one of the best burger experiences out there anywhere for under £4.00.

The prices are very reasonable; a burger with toppings starts at £3.20 for a quarter pounder and £4.00 for a half-pounder (which is two-quarter pounders in one bun), all the way up to their 'Big Bunch Triple Burger', a steal at £6.00, which boasts three burger patties, with Italian roast ham, and pineapple; all prices include a side of their perfectly crispy-soft fries, which you can have with cheese for 90p extra.

Pizzas come in four different sizes; 10", 12", and 16", as well as a 10" square option, with the Margherita priced between £4.00 and and £9.00, and others between £6.00 and £11.00. They are medium deep pan, with generous cheese and toppings, and taste beautifully fresh.

Kebabs run between £3.50 and £7.00 depending on size and type of meat, and they offer Donner, Kofta, Chicken, or Lamb, as well as a variety of mixed options.

They are open from 16:30 - Midnight Monday to Saturday, and with just £1 for delivery service, who could say no?
