Meet Santa aboard his canal boat

Each year before Christmas, Santa Claus appears in shopping centres around the country. What is meant to be an exciting visit for a child, often becomes a stressful and expensive trip for Mum and Dad waiting in a long queue with restless feet.

Try something different this year and meet Father Christmas aboard his canal boat. On weekends starting in December and running up to Christmas, you can book tickets to board the canal boat "Muddy Waters" from the wharf in Thrupp. The visit will include a short trip on the Christmas decorated boat where you can meet Santa and be given an early gift. At 10, this is good value compared to other alternatives, especially as it also includes tea and mince pies for the grown ups at Annie's Tea Room.

Trips run on the following dates in December 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd between 10am and 3pm

Spaces are limited so it's essential to make a booking in advance. Just e-mail muddy.waters@live.co.uk with the date and time you prefer and they will contact you back to confirm.
