You're used to watching them scoring goals, but now you can enjoy the star players of Southampton Football Club in a bit of a different light. The Saints Foundation are putting on an entertaining fundraising dinner at Tapas Barcelona , with the boys from Southampton Football Club changing out of their uniforms and into their chefs whites to prepare the entire meal - with the help of Tapas Barcelona's head chefs of course - for Saints Kitchen at Tapas Barcelona . The dinner will be on Wednesday February 7th from 6:30pm.



The evening includes a 3-course meal, hopefully inspired by the regular Tapas Barcelona fare of paella and other tasty Spanish inspired dishes.

Tapas Barcelona is a Spanish restaurant in Southampton's cultural quarter. Combining a bar and kitchen, it's a popular place for a few small bites alongside a few cocktails or somewhere to grab a hearty Spanish meal. They're open Monday to Sunday from 11am till late, and you can find their menus on the Tapas Barcelona website .

The event is being run by the Saints Foundation, the official charity of the Southampton Football Club. The foundation puts on various events and fundraisers throughout the year to help make positive changes in the lives of at risk children, young people and adults across Southampton. The charity works directly with Southampton Football Club players who are often involved with the charity's many fundraising efforts. Tickets are £25 per person, and can be purchased online from Eventbrite. The ticket covers the meal and entertainment for the evening, hosted by Tom Deacon, but drinks need to be purchased separately. The money raised will go towards the Saints Foundation and the work they do around Southampton. It's a great event for Saints fans, but even if you're not a football supporter it's a fun and tasty way to support a good cause.
