See the equestrian event of the year and Windsor Castle
The 2016 Royal Windsor Horse Show will be held from the 11th to the 16th of May in 2016. The United Kingdom's largest equestrian event takes place at Windsor castle. It is the only time in the year that its beautiful grounds are open to the general public. Tickets are now available via the website or calling the box office.

The prestigious show features participants from around the world in 4 competitions. These include Carriage Driving (Landrover International Driving Grand Prix), Show Jumping (CSI1* and CSI4*), Endurance (CEI1*) and National Dressage. There will be over 120 showing classes and outstanding equestrian displays that make this the British equestrian event of the year. HM The Queen, who is also patron to Royal Windsor, has attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show (RWHS) each year since the event began in 1944.

The RWHS marks the beginning of the busy summer show season. The RWHS organisers are delighted to offer free admission on the opening Wednesday (11th of May) and additional free admission for children on the 12th and 13th of May. Group bookings receive a discount and there's a family value ticket for Saturday or Sunday (2 adults and 3 children) at £50. Other days and admission fares vary. For those interested in a more exclusive experience, there is a membership package available. The package includes access to the Members Enclosure which is close to the Royal Box, a Members restaurant, bar and a terrace that overlooks the main Castle Arena.

The event will feature performances by The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, The Shetland Pony Grand National and the DAKS Pony Club Mounted Games. There will be The Queen's 90th birthday celebrations, a shopping village and pop-up restaurants, bars, cafés and food stalls. The shopping village will feature 200 stalls selling a wide variety of goods from equestrian goods to sought after fashion brands to homewares.
