Fri 13 Dec 2013 - Sun 29 Dec 2013

London-born classical music impresario, Raymond Gubbay, has been working with the Royal Albert Hall for years, and for 2013 they have prepared Christmas Festival for everyone to remember. Proceedings will begin with a traditional opening of the Messiah on the 13th & 15th December, in which the power and the glory of five hundred voices will sing in monumental harmony. To make sure your tummy isn't rumblings through the concert, why not book a pre-show fine dining experience ?

Between the 14th-21st December, take part in a Christmas Carol Singalong. If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands, stamp your feet, and sing your heart out to songs like 'Let it Snow', 'The Twelve Days of Christmas', 'Rockn' Robin' and many more.

The dancing Jingle Belles will have you raring for the dance floor, as they perform to rocking Christmas hits such as 'Rocking Around the Christmas Tree', 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town', and Mambo Santa Mambo' on the 15th December. Other shows will include performances from the King's College Choir, Royal Choral Society, and City of London Choir.

If you are a Strictly Come Dancing fan, then you will want to attend Anton & Erin's Christmas Cracker on the 22nd & 23rd December, in which you'll be treated to an afternoon of ballroom dancing to festive songs played by the London Concert Orchestra Big Band. Strictly Come Dancing winner of 2009, Chris Hollins will also be presenting The BT Christmas Concert on the 16th December.

Things don't end after Christmas, because for the first time, Gubbay and the Royal Albert Hall will be bringing audiences a proper Christmas Spectacular . From the 27th-29th December, you can expect classic after classic after classic. There will be music, dance, lights, lasers, and fireworks.

From The Nutcracker to the Can-Can, The Sorcerer's Apprentice to Swan Lake, experience marvellous performances from the he Russian State Ballet of Siberia, The Jingle Belle Dancers, and special guest West End star, Kerry Ellis. It will all end in a grande finale of indoor fireworks.
