Christmas brings so many forms of song to the Yuletide table, from choir music and carols to festive pop. This year you can enjoy the full shebang and the Royal Albert Hall during their
Christmas Festival . With eleven shows to choose from between the 9th - 24th December, tickets cost between £11.68 - £56.05.
Christmas With The Stars
9th December
Featuring guest appearances from Deborah Meaden, Graeme Le Saux, Andrew Castle, and Jill Halfpenny, enjoy Christmas favourites performed by Frank Renton's Concert Brass, the trumpeters of the Scots Guards, Sydenham School Choir, and the Royal Albert Hall's Grand Organ.
Christmas Carol Singalong
18th & 23rd December
Jonathan Cohen leads the way in a singalong of Christmas favourites, such as
Let it Snow,
O Little Town of Bethlehem,
Jingle Bells,
The Twelve Days of Christmas, and more.
Carols by Candlelight
13th & 20th - 24th December
Carols and seasonal classics staged in full eighteenth century costumes.
Jingle Bell Christmas
14th December
The London Concert Orchestra, Capital Voices and West End soloists perform favourites such as I
t's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,
White Christmas,
Little Drummer Boy,
Frosty The Snowman, Jingle Bell Rock, and many more.
Messiah
14th & 19th December
a five hundred voice choir sing's Handel's masterpiece,
Messiah.
The BT Christmas Concert
15th December
Chris Hollins introduces a concert of fun songs and carols, to be finished off with fireworks.
Christmas Classics
16th December
Classic compositions by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Handel, and others, will be accompanied by traditional readings by Hugh Bonneville.
King's College Choir
17th December
The King's College Choir perform compositions by Bach, Verdi, Mendelssohn, Rutter, Berlioz, and Gruber.
Classic Carols
18th December
Join the City of London Choir and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a concert including
Fantasia on Christmas Carols,
Silent Night,
The Holly and the Ivy,
In dulci jubilo,
Star Carol, and more.
Anton & Erin's Christmas Cracker
21st & 22nd December
Add a bit of dance to your Christmas, as
Strictly Come Dancing professionals, Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag, take to the floor.
The Glory of Christmas
22nd December
A selection of seasonal music and carols, featuring the Trinity Boys Choir, London Philharmonic Choir, and London Concert Orchestra.
