RAV is one letter short of a rave, but three words closer to helping victims of domestic and sexual violence. The Rock Against Violence concert is due to return to the O2 Academy Islington for its fourth consecutive year on the 13th November.
The annual flagship event supports Solace Women's Aid, a London-based charity for women and children who have suffered at the hands of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The concert begins at 7pm; tickets cost £10, but book before the 1st October, and you'll get 15% discount. As well as four musical acts, there will be a raffle and silent auction before the event ends at 11pm.
Performers include DB Cohen, sister group, The Fourfits, Indie-pop-folk band, We Used to Make Things, and host, Tom du Croz. The show is suitable for 8 years plus, but 14s and under must be accompanied by an adult.
