A free festival celebrating Rioja wine, Spanish food, and the Spanish lifestyle will be coming to Potters Field Park on the 14th & 15th June. Rioja Tapas Fantasticas is in its seventh year, and will be bringing a sensational range of red, white, and rosť wines from some of Rioja's most famous vineyards, including Berberana. One of the most famous houses in Spain, it was founded in 1877 by Miguel Berberan, and has over fifty thousand barrels in its ageing facilities. Upon arrival, you can buy a tasting glass for £3.50, which entitles you to four tokens that can be exchanged for wine.
The festival also spotlights authentic Spanish cuisine from some of London's best Spanish restaurants, such as Bar Esteban, Bravas Tapas, and Churros Garcia.
There will also be live Spanish music, wine tasting workshops, and half hour wine walks from experts Olly Smith and Susy Atkins, which can be booked in advance. Then, over the weekend you can enjoy a brand new interactive food and wine matching dining experience to entertain visitors over the weekend.
