For a treat, I recently went to Rioja - a restaurant on Argyle Street, specialising in tapas, wine, and cocktails. It's rather small, but its size - combined with the candles spread around the room - creates quite a cosy, romantic atmosphere.

I would thoroughly recommend getting their pitcher of sangria, it was delicious. We ordered 7 tapas dishes and they were all fantastic.

My one reservation about the restaurant would be the size of the tables. For a place that exclusively serves tapas, their tables were not built to fit a large number of dishes.

Overall, though, I would love to go back. This was a few days ago now but I am still daydreaming about the sangria, ox cheek's dish and the patatas bravas.
