Every Sunday until 13 December Rich Mix Bar in Shoreditch presents 'In The Mix' a free Sunday jazz session hosted by alto saxophonist Soweto Kinch.

Soweto Kinch has been hailed as one of Britain's young stars; winning a Mercury Music Prize for Album Of The Year 2003 and a MOBO Award for Best Jazz Act and establishing himself as a versatile and entertaining jazz act.

Every weekend, Kinch will be joined by a different special guest, with appearances from musicians and performers such as clarinet/saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings and guitarist and songwriter Femi Temowo.

The shows take place in the Rich Mix Bar, which provides a non-alcoholic service with hot and cold beverages and free Wi-Fi access for all customers.

The arts centre is a beacon of cultural arts in the Shoreditch/East London area. After a massive refurbishment of an empty factory, the centre was opened in 2006 and has provided local residents and wandering Londoners with music and art performances, cinema and a trendy meeting place.

'In The Mix' is a vibrant display of jazz music in all its myriad sounds. Recommended for true connoisseurs and newcomers alike, it's a great way to spend a Sunday: listening to jazz, enjoying a hot drink on a cold afternoon and being surrounded by fellow music lovers.
