Lovers of track cycling will not want to miss the Revolution Track Cycling event coming to Manchester this January.

The UK's best cycling competition is returning to Manchester this year. Track Cycling is a popular sport where cyclists race around purpose-built tracks in specialist locations. This is your chance to see Olympic gold medallists take part in one of the biggest competitions where speed, endurance and teamwork are all tested to the max. Taking place at the National Cycling Centre on Saturday 6th January 2018, the event includes a cycling competition with some of the worlds best teams. The Revolution Champions League is a competition which attracts competitors from around the world. Famous cyclists include Ed Clancy and Lizzie Deignan who will be taking part in the event.

Tickets cost from £10 for children (under 16) and adults cost from £20. The Manchester date sees the start of round 3 of the League which has already taken place in Glasgow and London. Located at the HSBC National Cycling Centre, this is a great chance to visit a world-class sporting venue and see the grand final of the cycling competition. Races take place throughout the day with seasoned cyclists competing against new and future stars. Doors open at 12pm and you can make a day of it as the competition goes on until 10.30pm or you can just attend the morning or evening sessions.

Manchester is known for hosting big sporting events and having the grand final of the cycling competition is great news for the city. With tickets still available, there is still time to watch your favourite sporting stars. Team GB will be competing against world champions, so get ready to cheer your country along. Both road cyclists and track stars will be attending in one of the biggest cycling competitions of the year.
