Little Venice in London is known for its canals, houseboats and Regency architecture but this weekend the Regent's Canal Festival is set to bring a little piece of Italy to Maida Vale with street performers, Italian food and on the 14th and 15th of July, a chance to ride in an Italian Gondola.

This year, the local festival is celebrating 200 years since Regent's Canal was approved by an Act of Parliament in 1812.
