Okay, so the 3rd of November is well and truly gone and you are all preparing yourself for Bonfire tonight.

However this information isn't totally irrelevant because the Regent Street Motor Show is an annual event and is held on the first Saturday in November at the bottom half of Regent Street. If you start your walk at Piccadilly Circus and walk north it will be easier than fighting through the throngs of people shopping on the North half the street (near Oxford Circus tube).

You don't have to be a car aficionado to enjoy yourself, I'm certainly not. If, like me, you identify with 125 years of British motoring through films ('ooo - that one looks like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) then you will enjoy the walk through history and film, while everyone else asks questions about cylinders ... or something like that.


The event is free, but be sure to wrap up warm as there is no shelter from the elements. Unless you decide to cower next to one of the cars, but you risk being hauled away if you do that.
