Opened less than a year ago in the heart of the theatre quarter in Liverpool, this lovely restaurant offers customers a range of great food and drinks. The contemporary décor of the place is minimal and, at the same time, highly intimate, with its subdued light and tranquil music.



To begin with, the place welcomes every newcomer with a 10£ discount, provided you register and sign up to the newsletter on the website . As soon as you do all this, come to the restaurant anytime and simply present the email confirmation to the server (note: that there is 'one voucher per table policy').

What's more is you can get a free bottle of prosecco as a gift on your birthday! Finally, there is a happy hour from 5pm to 6 30pm and lunch offer discount from 12pm to 4 30pm, so you will save some cash one way or another.

Now, the food deserves some special attention as well. The Refinery serves breakfasts, brunches, afternoon tea, lunches, dinners, theatre deals… There are some tempting choices on the menu, among which everyone can find something they like. The restaurant serves mainly European cuisine. The menu includes burgers, fish, meat, and pasta. There is also a range of desserts but, to be honest with you, it is quite hard to manage after the huge portions of main dishes. The food prices range between 8 and 13£ for a main, and around 5£ for a starter. [BREAK]



As it is clear from the name, there are numerous live music performances in the venue. You can check a monthly schedule on the website, or simply ask the staff for a brochure. Bear in mind that the performances run from Sunday to Thursday starting at 6.45pm, plus a lunch-time concert on a Sunday from 1 till 4pm.

The Refinery is a place that fits every occasion, so whenever you decide to give it a try is up to you. You can settle for a long dinner date or just a quick bite on a work day, and there would be no reason for you to feel out of place, and that's the biggest advantage of this spot.
