Tips & ideas to raise money
It was twenty-five years ago that Red Nose Day first hit the screens, and with the 15th March fast approaching, once again the Nation is getting out their red noses (not difficult with with whether like this) in a fundraising frenzy - or should I say fun raising?
This year, Comic Relief has assembled a team of seven celebrity superheroes who are providing the tools and ideas to help raise money that will be used to transform the lives of people, both here in the UK and across Africa.
Be daring like Jessie J., dress-up with Miss Piggy, go eighties for Jason Donovan, or bake with Mary Berry. See what you can do to help.
There will be plenty on entertainment on the telly over the coming months; the first instalment will be The Great Comic Relief Bake Off between the 21st-24th January on BBC2.
Presented by the fabulously funny, Mel Giedroyc, and judged by the sweet Mary Berry and delicious Paul Hollywood, sixteen celebrities will put on their aprons and arm themselves with a whisk for baking balls-up. Among others you will see business dragon, Duncan Bannatyne, comedian, Jo Brand, Olympic champion, Ellie Simmonds, and actor, Warwick Davis battling it out in the marquee as they attempt extravagant éclairs and tricky tarts.
