This year's bonfire-night celebrations in Ravenscourt Park are being held on Saturday 3rd November, and as always the night looks set to be filled with fun. The park, which opens at 6pm, will be overflowing with flashing fairground rides, sizzling food stalls and an exciting finale of flickering fireworks.

At 7:15pm, as darkness falls, there will be a mini fireworks display especially for the children; a great warm-up act for the main display which fires into action at 8pm. For this, as the first flashes of colour fill the sky, music kicks in to create an impressive choreographed performance of swirls, fizzes and bangs (all no doubt set to a chorus of 'oohs' and 'aahs' from the crowd).

If you live nearby this really is an unmissable event; good enough to rival the other London displays and much better than trying to wow the kids with a few shop-bought bangers in your back garden. Tickets are £7.00 on the day, or £5.00 in advance from the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith, and kids under 5 go free. The nearest tube is Ravenscourt Park, which is one stop along from Hammersmith on the District Line. Add a sparkle to your Saturday this Guy Fawkes Night and you won't fail to be amazed.
