I've done well with shop names recently, finding some really great ones on my travels - this however is probably the best of the bunch...

Possibly a social commentary on the commuter cycle performed ritually every working day, Rate Race Cycles is nonetheless a great, great name for a cycle shop - inspiring enough for it to stop me dead in my tracks and want to tell you more about it.

So, here goes... as I was on my way to the Nun's Head (see my previous review), I saw the shop I am about to tell you about. Now, like I said, the name got me interested, but the range of services they offer left me wishing I still had my trusty old bike.

Thanks to the owner of the shop being a bit of a bicycle expert, you can be guaranteed quality service, even in areas I previously hadn't been aware of - wheel building .

Now this seems a little bit magical to me, but apparently it is possible to build bike wheels by hand, and these wheels are more durable - making you wonder why people didn't do it more.

With all of this knowledge and experience, it is not surprising that recently an extension in opening hours occurred, just to keep up with demand.

Don't worry if you don't know too much about bikes either, as the owner is a specialist in suiting bikes to the rider, so you will find something that will get you from A to B with the minimum of discomfort - now you can't argue with that.

With a specialist like this available to you - don't you think it's time to get back on your bike?
