True to the spirit of Christmas, St Martin's Courtyard in Covent Garden will be spreading seasonal goodwill with Random Acts of Kindness over the festive period.
Up until Christmas Eve, the courtyard's shops and restaurants will be offering shoppers and diners 100 gifts at random – including a Christmas hamper, a bottle of champagne, a pair of boots, an invitation to a wine tasting evening and a pass for yoga and Pilates classes.
They will also be making donations to four charities, as chosen by the recipients of the gifts: Westminster Tree Trust, Cancer Research UK, The Connection at St Martin in the Fields and Kids Company.
Free live music takes place in
St Martin's Courtyard on Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon. English National Opera Community Choir will sing on Thursday 19 December from 5-7pm and Roo Savill will perform on Saturday 21 December from 2-4pm.
