Publympics 2012

Home > London > Food and Wine | Pubs
As the dates for London Olympics shuffle closer, the demand for fun things to do in east London grows larger. Thank the lord for beer making and boutique burger-makers, The Dead Dolls Club, for sorting out a weekly event that will fill the void for those that failed to get their hands on tickets for London Olympics 2012.

Last week's Summer Affair at London Fields Brewery was helped along by the first rays of sun that July has seen and was a jolly good warm up or what's to come. Come the opening weekend of the Olympics the brewery will be hosting it's very own Publympics, where the order of the day will be copious amounts of the finest micro-brewed beers and mighty meaty BBQ food. Forget high tea and fish & chips, London is all about pulled pork, monster burgers and real ale this summer.

A little bird also tells me that if you get there before 5pm, there'll be a free beer in it for you.
