The Prestat chocolate shop opened in London in 1902, selling luxurious handmade chocolates by Louis Dufour. Dufour is famously known for creating the world's first chocolate truffle and making the Prestat company what it is today. The shop in Piccadilly is filled with beautiful and delicious treats and has a very traditional English interior. Many famous faces are valued customers of Prestat, but their most famous was Roald Dahl. Dahl was a regular customer to the store and was author of one of the best selling children's story 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. In his published recipe book, he also mentioned that he loved truffles, just the way that Prestat made them.
After supplying London with the finest quality chocolate for more than 110 years, Prestat are still constantly updating their collection and evolving their company. This Easter Prestat has launched a collection of traditional mini Easter eggs containing their finest truffles. Each egg has a colorful and beautiful design created by famous illustrator Kitty Arden. The illustrations are carefully printed on card and then shaped into an oval, which is then filled with Prestat's famous chocolates. These unique eggs make an utterly luxurious Easter gift for someone special or for you to indulge in all on your own.

Each egg has a different design and there is a range of very different flavours to choose from. The red design is filled with Praline truffles, whilst the blue design is filled with a unique sweet caramel flavour with a hint of sea salt. The most popular flavor however is the Mauve design filled with Marc de Champagne truffles, which are Prestats best selling truffles. These unique Easter treats are £6.50 each and can be bought at the Prestat shop in Piccadilly, where you will most probably find a range of other treats that will tempt your sweet tooth this Easter.
