Forget the Leeds Half Marathon or completing an Otley Run, if you want a real challenge in Leeds then head down to Popina's Cafe in Hyde Park to try the Mega Breakfast. For £6.50 you'll get 3 sausages, 3 rashers of bacon, 3 eggs, 2 hash browns, 1 black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast. And, if that's not incentive enough, if you are able to finish this mountainous fry up, you will receive the prestigious award of a key-ring.



Popina's also have a vegetarian fried breakfast, smaller variations of the Mega Breakfast, and butty-sandwiches for those with less of an appetite but still desperate for something delicious.

It is worth bearing in mind that Popina's sometimes gets very busy due to the abundance of students living in the Hyde Park area and you may be forced to sit outside when it's quite cold. However, when the weather is nice and the cafe is buzzing with students sitting inside and out, there aren't many better places to go in Leeds to get breakfast.
