Still looking for something different to do on Valentine's Day? Not interested in the usual meal and a movie? Why not try some painting in a pub! A creative date might be the answer to finding the perfect Valentine's activity.
PopUp painting is running a special Valentine's Day night where attendees will learn to paint Jack Vettriano's
The Singing Butler. As dates go, this is definitely different as you can enjoy a glass of wine and paint while you date.
PopUp painting events are amazing. The company run pop up art workshops where painting is taken out of the traditional classroom and brought into unique and different locations, like bars and pubs. This allows people to relax while they have a go at a new skill and it makes the whole creative process more fun.
The night is set to be fun and relaxed. Attendees will have the help of an artist to guide them. You do not have to follow the rules though, as you can simply paint whatever you want if you prefer. It is quite symbolic though that the night is dedicated to the artist Jack Vettriano. His work is extremely popular in Britain and he himself is a self-taught artist, which should inspire any budding artists wishing to attend. This is a great and unique date to celebrate Valentine's Day and perfect for treating someone creative.
The event is taking place at the
Sawyers Arms on Deansgate from
7.30pm until 10pm on
Wednesday 14th February 2018. Tickets cost £27.99 per person and include all equipment. The pub is conveniently located in the City Centre and is the oldest pub in the city. This is a great venue for a relaxed evening.
Have a creative Valentine's Day this year and try a PopUp Painting event.
