This place has made a real impression on the Brixton landscape since it appeared in May 2015. Put together as a temporary community space to make use of a plot of disused land in the heart of Brixton, has become a landmark that has already benefitted its local community as well as the independent businesses set up inside.

Created from a series of stacked shipping containers, and incorporating other recycled or sustainable materials too, now resembles an adults playground of bars, shops and eating spaces, with some of South London's best independent pop-ups to be found.

Not sure when to visit? Well, in truth, you'll have a good time anytime, but should you want to come for something special, there is a whole section of events to peruse - including movie viewings, live music and DJ sessions, as well as many fitness options including yoga and even a spot of gardening. Should you want to come along with the kids, there are family-friendly times and activities, especially for the little ones, including reading clubs and special family yoga too.

The best thing to do is not listen to me, just go there and experience it for yourself - but do it soon as it won't be around forever. If I can make some suggestions, go there early evening, to make sure you can get a place for any live music/events that are happening, and also have a look around the food stalls - you can find tasty ramen, craft beer, and lots, lots more. So make sure you keep your eyes, ears and stomach all open!
