Horses become the highlight at Hurlingham
On the weekend of the 7th - 9th June, you can see Polo at Hurlingham Park.

I thought he was dead, What is he doing there?

No, not Marco Polo, the other kind. Mint Polo.

Can't you buy them from the sweet shop?

No, not the sweets either. Oh dear, I'm not making myself very clear am I? I'm talking about the sport. You know, the one that is a fusion of hockey and horse racing.

Ohhh.

Finally, now we've got that sorted, maybe I can explain. Mint Polo in the Park is an annual summer festival at Hurlingham Park, and this year there will be the teams from London, Delhi, Buenosaires, Moscow, Abu Dhabi, and Sydney all competing. The main events will take on the 7th June, which has been designated 'City Friday'. There will be three matches at 2.45pm, 5pm, and 7pm, which will see who qualifies for the Sunday finals.

The 8th of June is 'Ladies' Day'; it will feature three more matches, plus the Shetland Pony Grand National. Aside from the sports, you can all explore the Luxury Shopping Village, which will have over forty exhibitors, offering everything you need for a fashionable summer, including items you cannot find on the high street. These include Argentine belts, one-piece suits, jewellery, and artwork by Banksy.

If you are going as a family, then 'Finals Day' on Sunday 9th June is the day to go, as there will be inflatable slides, sponge dodge ball, face painting, and balloon sculpting to keep the kids entertained.

Tickets to the event are 20-45 for adults and 10-15 for children.
