Gotta Win Them All

Do you want to be the very best, like no one ever was?
To win Pokemon X & Y is the real test,

A trip to Tokyo is the cause.

Will you travel across the UK,
Searching far and wide
For an opponent who will understand
The passion that you hide?

Pokemon, on the 3DS and in 2D,
You know it's your destiny,
Pokemon, oh play against your friends,
For a title you must defend.

Pokemon, a game so true,
Determination will pull you through.
Battle me and I'll battle you
Po-ke-mon, gotta catch them all.

The 2014 Pokemon Tournament is underway. This year it is X & Y battle, with fabulous prizes to be won. It is free to enter and there are four categories to choose from.

Qualifying tournaments are currently being held around GAME stores and shopping centres around the UK. Sign up for your nearest one, or if you miss out, see if you can register for another area:

GAME Hamleys, London - 8th March
GAME St. David's Centre, Cardiff - 8th March
WestQuay, Southampton - 15th March
GAME Meadowhall, Sheffield - 15th March
GAME Castle Street, Banbury - 15th March
Bluewater, Kent - 22nd March
GAME Back Of The Inns, Norwich - 22nd March
GAME Victoria Centre, Nottingham - 22nd March
Intu Trafford Centre, Manchester - 29th March
GAME Westfield Stratford City, London – 29th March
Intu Braehead, Glasgow - 5th April
GAME Cribbs Causeway, Bristol – 5th April

The winners will go through to the grand final on the 26th April, which will be held in London. Not only is contest a great way to meet other fans and have fun, but there is also the opportunity to win fabulous prizes.

Ultimate Pokemon Expert - an intense competition for experts thirteen and over. The ultimate champion will win a trip to Tokyo and visit the Pokémon Center.

Junior Pokemon Expert - for trainers under twelve. The young champ will win a family weekend trip to Alton Towers.

Pokemon Apprentice - for those who are new to the game. Newbies could win a mega bundle of Nintendo 3DS games.

Ultimate Pokemon Team - for one child (under twelve) and one adult (sixteen or over) to join forces. Successful teams will have the chance to win a £250 Nintendo UK Online Store voucher, plus a trip to EGX London 2014.
