Pipes is a small artisan brewery located in the leafy suburban area of Pontcanna, Cardiff. From the street, you could almost miss the yard but once you walk by on a Friday or Saturday evening, you realise just how much happens here.



Pipes Brewery hosts not only the artisan brewery at the back of the yard but it also houses a variety of eateries and cocktail bars for locals to enjoy on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm and on a special event or market days.



The yard has a local communal atmosphere, friendly neighbours and curious tourists drop by for a pint or a bite and sometimes live music. The decor is relaxed and casual with outdoor seating (mostly undercover). Each mini eatery and drinks venue has executed perfectly a very creative, homely style setup that comes together creating a lovely bohemian atmosphere to enjoy an evening out.



You can expect a large range of beer styles from Pipes (all 100% natural, additive, preservative=free and suitable for vegans and some gluten-free), handmade cocktails from a bar at the entrance, and delicious made-to-order food from Alex Gooch bakery (wood fired traditional bread and pizzas), Lazy Leek vegan burgers and chips, Lufkin coffee (during the day), The Wardrobe Cafe and creative cocktails from the bar.



For those with tight schedules during the evenings, you can still enjoy the atmosphere of at the Pontcanna Farmers market. Saturdays from 10 am to 1.30pm sees a vast range of local Welsh produce - cheese, bread, olive oil, organic fruit and vegetables, freshly pressed juice, local honeys and eggs.
