That's the way Pierre Bensusan's music is described. The French-Algerian taught himself the acoustic guitar at eleven years old, and at seventeen signed up to his first record deal. He has now reached the fortieth anniversary of his music career, and to celebrate, is going on a UK tour. Londoner can enjoy Bensusan's concert on the 15th & 16th June at 8pm for just ú10 at The Half Moon pub in Putney.
Considered the 'Mozart of Guitar', has recently released 'Encore', a triple CD that contains thirty-five tracks from live concerts performed between 1974-2013.
Because it is such a special year for him, Besusan has personally built a signature model guitar with the held of Lowden, and Irish company that handcrafts guitars from the finest materials, to exacting specifications. Made from Honduras rosewood and Adirondack spruce, Bosusan will be playing this guitar during his tour.
