Get a real sugar rush in a sweet and assorted music event
You've probably experienced a sugar rush before, but have you ever been high on candy and live music - all at the same time? Once again London's nightlife takes us by surprise with a candy-themed open mic night that is all about edible sweets and assorted performances, so you can 'Pick 'n' Mix' as you like.

Whether you're into indie, R&B or soul, this jumbled event has the all ingredients for a literally sweet music night. No less than five performances will bring the city's night to life in the centric location of Great Portland Street next Wednesday, January 29th.

In the course of just one evening, you'll get to spot performances from R&B artist MSL, Charmer Mills, hip-hop artist Lowko, soul singer Greyce and alternative indie rockers Prophets and Seers. Even break-dancers Bboy Fuego will get down on it and bring fire to a cold winter with their hot moves.

Set in the midst of winter, such an event can only mean one thing... The students' gigs season is upon us once again. This time, students from London Metropolitan University are the master brains behind 'Pick 'n' Mix', part of one of the many events hosted by fellow scholars from the same university, which arranged a series of sell-out gigs last year. The group of undergraduates are doing a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry and they are known as 'SugaRush'.

Conceived by students for students and enthusiastic music lovers, 'Pick 'n' Mix' is the ideal get-together to socialize, meet new people and have a sugar-powered blast.
