Off to Neverland

It's off to Richmond Theatre, second park to the right and straight on to Little Green. If you reach your destination between the 6th December and 12th January you will encounter pirates and Indians, and go on all sorts of adventures with a group of lost boys.

That's because the old Victorian opera house is the venue for the latest pantomime production of Peter Pan, in which the Fonz himself - AKA, Henry Winkler - will play everyone's favourite swashbuckler, Captain Hook. Winkler has played Hook before, and has this to say of the role:

'Captain Hook, with his sword fighting, singing off-key, and a crew that couldn't sail through a bathtub, is so much fun to play. I am filled to the brim with dastardly anticipation not only to be in Richmond's 114-year-old theatre, but also in pantomime at Christmas time.'

Hook's nemesis, and our childhood hero will be played by the bright-eyed Jeremy Legat from hit West End Musical, Wicked. Flying through the Darling's nursery window, he will not only sweep Wendy off her feet, but send your spirit soaring with just a sprinkle of fairy dust.

Tickets can be booked online for 11.90-4.40, plus booking fees.
