For most university students like myself, the Easter break can be long and quite dull. I was determined not to let this be the case, however, and took my London-born boyfriend for a day out in Liverpool to sample its cultural and culinary delights.
Each tapas dish comes to around £3.95 for a main, and two dishes of different varieties make a satisfying meal for one person. I opted for a mini-pizza and pasta carbonara, while my boyfriend had a mini-pizza and flavoured chicken. The two of us are students, and the fact that our meals came to under £10 each was a joy. The quality of the dishes and the size of the portions, despite the low cost, is also very pleasing. I was impressed with the size of my portion of carbonara.

"That didn't last very long..."
