An independent pub with a really nice feel

Let me introduce the Perseverence to you. Why? Well, because this is the type of pub you imagined coming to London to discover. The Perseverence however is not like many others around, being that it is independently owned, and therefore free of the normal stipulations and restraints imposed on many other places. So what does this mean to me you probably wonder, well for a start it means you just need to relax in its luxurious interior - with family or with friends, and soak in the beautiful, tranquil atmosphere of this particular part of Bloomsbury.

So, any other reason?

Well, I think the food list says it all. Traditional pub grub, and plenty of it, at prices that won't give your wallet indigestion, Pies are quite a tempting option, and with signs like this - how can you refuse?

The thing that sold it to me though on my visits there is the fact it is just a nice pub, nothing less than that - the kind of place you go for a pint, and before you know it you have spent the afternoon there. And that's just what I recommend you do, take your appetite, some money and maybe a paper - and let The Perseverance perform it's magic on you too.
