Peckham has experienced what could be called the Great Coffee Rush of 2014/15! It has seen three charming coffee shops open in the last 12 months.
Let me introduce you to these amazing new hangouts;
The Small White Elephant on 28 Choumert Road.
Is a chilled haven. A cafe/mini jungle which displays art as well as being known to put on jazz and poetry nights.
Alchemy Espresso is the coffee they serve which tastes great as well as many homemade treats too.

Small White Elephant
Lerryn's Cafe & Bar on 200 Rye Lane.
It's just so super cool! It's a pastel themed, bohemian wonderland. It has a great sized garden for when the sun's out too. It does some mean sarnies and coffee by day, seasonal boozy concoctions by night. Local DJ's rock the joint from time to time.

Lerryn's
Old Spike Roastery on 54 Peckham Rye.
Now this one's extra special. Not only does
Old Spike roast their own coffee beans, it's also a non profit social enterprise which provides housing and jobs for the homeless. It's only open on the weekends but I've been told that may change. The staff are darlings and happy to answer all your coffee queries!
