Some places just need to be found - and as if by fate, you end up finding them. That is exactly how you will feel when you discover the wonder that is .

There is too, too much to say about this place that it would mean severely compromising the space I have here, so to keep it brief - if you like good music (read this as not pop music, but real people playing real instruments and singing live on a stage), in a truly bohemian atmosphere (people walking round in face paints, costumes and a genuinely friendly environment) then you may have just found the place you have always been looking for.

To me, a seasoned London person (not Londoner - I wasn't born here), it is very reminiscent of a place I used to adore back in the Noughties, a converted bank building known as the Foundry, which sat proudly in the centre of the Old Street area - some of you may remember it...

I thought the closure of that venue, and the subsequent conversion, meant I'd seen the last of that particular type of destination bar, where no two nights were ever the same. Stumbling on was like finding the thing I had been missing all that time.

On entry you are guided up to the upstairs bar area, with dj's playing an eclectic selection of tunes- the furniture is gloriously mismatched - you will spend as much time gazing in wonder at the walls and decorations as you will speaking to the people you are with.

Downstairs is the main room and music area, complete with bar, DJ area and stage. with live music on more or less every night, you can't fail but to be entertained.

Now I know about this place, I'll be there often, and I believe a few of you reading this will be too...
