Papa John's Pizzeria, Manchester

I love Italian food, but I've never been a huge fan of the doughy base with a healthy spread of tart tomato puree and a generous smattering of cheese, more commonly known as pizza.
During my days as a student I ate a variety of foods, but pizza was never my thing; the last time I had pizza was four years ago.
My sister introduced me to Pap John's when I visited her in Manchester; it has humble decor, just like a proper Italian pizzeria (it's wonderful). They pay homage to the way pizzas are cooked in Italy, pioneered by the original papa John.
There are always deals were you can enjoy pizza for £10.00, there are a number of offers on for students all the time because it is located in the home of the student area: Oxford Road.
There are so many varieties of toppings, from the classic margarita, BBQ chicken, vegetarian (Garden Party), also what they call 'The Mexican' which has jalapeno peppers, beef, chilli powder, and onions, as well as 'Half and Half' where you can make your own if you're undecided. The Works and All the Meat which are trademark versions exclusive to Papa Johns.
As earlier mentioned, my sister and I recently placed an order at Papa John's - we settled for the margarita, which comes with garlic dip.
Safe to say our pizza was delicious. The base was a wholemeal dough, thick, fluffy, and the simple topping was the perfect balance of tomato, cheese, and just enough seasoning to give it bite.
Very impressed, I enjoyed the three slices I devoured, and will definitely be placing an order again.
