Vacuum Salesman Gets Sucked Into The World Of Spies In Cuba
One of author Graham Greene's most popular and hilarious novels is being brought to the live stage in an exciting new production. Our Man In Havana, which makes a number of appearances at the Lichfield Garrick theatre from June 26 to 28, is set in Cuba in 1958 and tells the story of hapless vacuum cleaner salesman Jim Wormold who gets caught up in the dangerous and dirty world of espionage and double agents when the chance of helping out MI6 with a job or two proves too good an offer to resist.

Our Man In Havana is coming to the stage in a new adaptation of the novel

Our Man In Havana promises to be an uproarious farce having been thrillingly adapted for the stage by Clive Francis. And the job of bringing Graham Greene's subversive piece of literature to the stage has gone to Creative Cow who have produced this new adaptation in association with Malvern Theatres and Buxton Opera House. The show is being directed by Amanda Knott, who is one of the founder members of Creative Cow, while the cast is made up of Charles Davies, Isla Carter, Michael Onslow and James Dinsmore.

Our Man In Havana will be performed at the Lichfield Garrick theatre from Monday 26 June to Wednesday 28 June, with shows starting at 7.30pm plus a 2:30pm matinee on Wednesday.
