I visited Orange Coffee House on my 18th birthday, and it soon became my favourite little spot for lunch in Knutsford. Whether you want to drop in for one of the many hot drinks available from their selection of teas, hot chocolates and coffees (a pot of loose leaf Earl Grey is always a staple when I visit), or sample their diverse, homemade menu, including all day breakfasts and sandwiches, Orange Coffee House will suit all manner of people. The decor is relaxed and classy, with rustic hints of the old world and contemporary paintings side by side.

Knutsford is approximately 40 minutes out of Manchester, and can be reached via the M56 (using the M6 may take a little longer).

If you drop in on Sundays, you can enjoy live Jazz music between 11am and 3pm. Knutsford itself it a beautiful little town, famous predominantly for being the home of Elizabeth Gaskell and the setting for her novel Cranford. The town is perfect for an after dinner walk, especially in the spring and summer.
