Whether you're a broke student rushing to a lecture, or taking a leisurely stroll through the city,
Opposite is the perfect cafe to pick up an 'on-the-go' lunch.
The tea and coffee selection is good quality, while the homemade cakes make a welcome treat. I bought a salmon roll with horseradish mayonnaise, far better than many shop-bought sandwiches I've eaten and much cheaper too.
As I had chosen to have a late lunch, the cake selection had sold out fairly quickly, so make sure you come a little earlier if you're planning on treating yourself. If not, the selection of sandwiches and soups is always extensive.
Due to its popularity, seating isn't always readily available, so I would recommend coming for take-out lunches.
