Steinbeck's classic story of Lennie Small and George Milton: the friendship of the two unlikely characters, united by their fatal flaw - The American Dream - breaks your heart and makes you fall in love with them. Cry, laugh, and be entertained by 'Tin Shed Theatre Co. who pride themselves in re-inventing the ways in which stories can be told whilst focusing heavily on Steinbeck's vivid characters'. At The Old Joint Stock Theatre, this is not to be missed.
An education for those who haven't read the play and an exciting adaptation of a classic for those who have; Tin Shed's performance promises to be different:
We want to introduce our self to strangers, be bold and brave. Amaze with a tale and transport audiences to a place that, although remains detached from the literal, can still enlighten our perceptions of the real world, all the same." Owner Justin Cliffe.
They couldn't have picked a better play, for 'Of Mice and Men' is a play about the average joe who seeks something more, and can't we all relate to that? I'd like to think so.
