Once being 'La Piazza' and now being a similar thing with a different name, Oakley's is a average family restaurant with a variety of servings.

In Oakley's words:
'All food sourced locally. Pizzas, pastas and salads.

Aside from rowdy teenagers and excitable children, is ideal for any type of meal you want, even offering a Christmas menu when the season comes.

As one of the most popular restaurants in Skipton, being seated may be a issue, so booking a table may be compulsory to make sure you enjoy a stress free meal with the family, friends or lover of yours.

All foods appeared to be top quality, although choice may be sparse if you have issues with allergens. Yet if you aren't one of these people, then choice is vast, with your usual pizzas to continent based pizzas, such as Asia and America, pastas and meatballs, burgers and salads and char-grilled chickens. The choice is yours.

Desserts may just be the highlight of Oakley's, with sorbet and ice cream being the cheaper choice. Bubblegum and pistachio are some of the more exhilarating flavours. Yet if you still have room for a more extensive pudding, why don't you try the marbled chocolate truffle - a rich milk and white chocolate sheathed in chocolate sponge. Or if you're a chocolate lover and all this seems a bit much, then how about you try a chocolate tart or warm chocolate fudge cake with ice cold ice cream to instigate your taste buds. Perhaps you want a dessert that isn't quite so chocolaty yet still fancy - a naughty treat, how about a tangy, lemon filled tart, available with ice cream or cream. A great way to finish off your meal.
