Re-capturing The 80s

Gary Numan is considered a pioneer in electronic music, with chart topping hits such as Are Friends Electric? from 1979. Numan has a strong fan base, and as you know, imitation is said to be the greatest form of flattery.

One very flattering group of fans are The Nuway Army, a tribute band that began their career back in 2001 at the Canvey Island Festival. The group went through various changes, and split up for a number of years, but through the powers of social networking, the group have recently reunited, and are looking to entertain us all once again.

Their next gig will be at the Charles Cryer Studio Theatre in Carshalton on the 14th September at 8pm. Tickets are 12, for which you will be given a performance that will recapture the glory of the eighties, with classic Gary Numan songs such as Cars and We Are Glass.
